Terzani’s philosophy?

Combining artisan culture and advanced technology is the main characteristic of Terzani’s production philosophy. The design process originates from the creative invention of the first sketch and goes on to an extremely accurate search of the perfect detail trough the use of the right materials and technologies. A meticulous approach this one that is typical of the artisan tradition but it also means a constant research of new technologic solutions.

For instance some of the glass design pieces  maintain the tradition of hand blowing but are then treated with the same sophisticated vacuum metallization technology used as in automobile industry.

Or also the new three dimensional laser cutting that now allows the creation of new forms is still integrated with traditional hand welding performed by Italian masters.  In a time of globalization, this fusion represents a choice to preserve the culture and knowledge of an artisan aristocracy, which is the only way to guarantee the highest standard of quality.

Inspiration can spring from anywhere: a flower, a jewel, passion, a woman’s name, or the human body. Therefore Terzani  has added a new motto: “tutto e’ luce.”
